First Rock Camp for Girls in the Balkans took place in August 2017. Participants, with their mentors’ help, learn the basics of playing guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard, and on the last day the bands they formed perform at an open concert. We want to show girls themselves, their families, and the public that they are capable of playing whatever music they want. By building a community of young female rockers and providing positive role models it aspires to help girls combat stereotypes.

Prvi Rok kamp za devojčice na Balkanu održan je u avgustu 2017. Učesnice uz pomoć mentorki uče osnove sviranja gitare, bas gitare, bubnjeva i klavijatura, i poslednjeg dana nastupaju na otvorenom koncertu u okviru bendova koje su oformile. Želimo da pokažemo devojčicama, njihovom okruženju, i javnosti da su sposobne da se bave bilo kojom muzikom koju vole. Građenjem zajednice mladih rokerki i pružanjem pozitivnih uzora težimo da pomognemo devojčicama da se izbore sa predrasudama.
