Girls Rock Dublin is the first girls rock camp organisation in Ireland. Founded in 2016, we ran our first camp for 18-24 y.o. girls* in June 2017 and are planning one for 12-17 y.o. for next summer. GRD got coverage from national press and TV, and thanks to fundraisers, donations and sponsorships, we offered eight scholarships to applicants with low income, including three asylum seekers. Among campers and volunteers, eleven nationalities were represented in our camp, which made it very unique.
